Alebrije Inspired Kitchen

Our inspiration for this kitchen came from our client’s collection of Mexican Alebrige Animal sculptures. These mystical creatures inspired the colors and geometric shapes of the kitchen. Incorporating a curved island and round table created a more dynamic and softer flow to the long narrow kitchen.

Condos are often a challenge – you can’t move water, venting has to remain connected to existing ducting and recessed cans may not be an option. For this project, we had an added challenge – we could not lower the ceiling on the exterior wall due to a continual leak issue that the HOA had put off due to the multi-million-dollar expense. So…we made it work!
